Description

Alloy Lead Anode

Lead Anode is one strategic part of leaching and refining of the copper. Correct choose of this part has a crucial role in production efficiency, project’s total cost, electricity consumption and………The final unit of production in each leaching plant is the EW electro-winning unit. (After SX unit) In lead electrode unit, lead is the positive pole and stainless steel cathode blanks are in fact the negative pole in the electrolysis process.

The role of lead anode in the copper production process

As mentioned, lead is a positive pole in copper production. The DC current generated by the transformers and rectifiers is delivered to the aprons (copper inputs of the cells) by the copper load bus (copper ingots). This current is then transmitted to the acid pool by a positive pole, which is actually a lead anode, and is discharged by stainless steel cathodes.
Ponds in the leaching process contain a solution of copper and acid. As electricity passes through these pools, copper will settle on the stainless steel blank cathode. The copper cathode production process in the leaching process lasts about 10 days.

Mobin Sakht Ideh Andish Co. is the manufacturer of types of Alloy Lead Anode for leaching and refining projects in copper industries in Iran.
